Terms & conditions

By participating in the Prize Draw Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and any other requirements set out in the promotional material.

Promoter: Formula One Autocentres, Boulton Road, Stevenage SG1 4QX. Please do not send entries to this address.

Eligibility

• The Prize Draw is open to UK residents aged 17 years or over.
• Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, agents, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion are not eligible to enter.

How to Enter

• All tyre purchases (in-store at Formula One Autocentres Birkenhead between 09/10/2025 and 12/10/2025, or online bookings made for fitting at Birkenhead within the same dates) qualify for entry.
• To be entered into the Prize Draw, customers must complete an entry form after their tyres have been fitted. The form will include a question:
  What is the legal limit in the UK for tyre tread depth?
  A: 1.6mm
  B: 3mm
  C: 2.5mm
• The entry form will also request the following details:
  • Name
  • Email
  • Phone number
  • Tyre size
  • Number of tyres purchased
• Non-purchasing entrants may also enter the Prize Draw by completing the form and stating their tyre size. No purchase is necessary to enter.

The Prize

• Purchasing entrants: one winner will receive the difference between the price paid for their tyres and £1, meaning their tyres will effectively cost £1.
• Non-purchasing entrants: one winner will receive one Cooper Tires tyre for £1 in the size specified on their entry form.
• Only valid at the Birkenhead centre for the promotional period.
• No cash alternative is available, except in the event of circumstances outside the Promoter’s control where the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value.
• The prize is non-transferable and cannot be sold.

Winner Selection and Notification

• The Prize Draw will take place following the closure of the promotional period.
• The winner will be drawn at random under independent supervision, using a computer system producing verifiable results.
• The winner will be notified within 72 hours of the draw via the contact details provided on the entry form.
• The winner must claim their prize within 72 hours of notification. If the prize is not claimed within this time, the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner.

General

• The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and winners, and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement if there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms & Conditions.
• The Promoter is not liable for cancellations, amendments, or modifications to the promotion caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
• The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these Terms & Conditions at any stage if deemed necessary, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect on participants.
• Full name of the winner will be available on request for a period of 3 months following the closing date of the Prize Draw by sending a self-addressed envelope to: Simon Jennings, Formula One Autocentres, Boulton Road, Stevenage SG1 4QX.
• By entering, participants consent to their data being processed solely for the purposes of administering this Prize Draw, unless they have opted in to receive further marketing.
• The Promoter’s decision is final regarding all aspects of this promotion and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Any question concerning the legal interpretation of these Terms & Conditions will be based on English law, and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
