Run-flat tyres have reinforced sidewalls and are designed to keep the tyre fixed to the wheel, even when operating at low pressure. Most tyre manufacturers DO NOT recommend a Run-flat tyre be repaired following use at reduced pressure.

Front end of the car seems less grippy in the wet around corners , but that could be down to the car's natural under steer rather than the tyre itself. I've had Continentals on other cars in the past and have always been happy with them.
